Neutral Fact-Finding Evaluation is ideal for companies that have instituted an internal grievance process and would prefer to have a neutral person investigate and resolve the matter in order to eliminate any perceptions of bias in its handling of the matter. This type of process is an expedited process which is designed to finalize the investigative process and issue a Written Finding at the conclusion of the Conference.  Neutral Fact-Finding Conferences entail gathering and reviewing discovery, interviewing and taking testimony from parties and witnesses, making credibility findings, evaluating the merits of the case, drafting a comprehensive case analysis and issuing a Written Finding.  A neutral fact-finding examiner may also engage in conciliation and draft settlement agreements where appropriate.
